Longer Answer: That still depends on all sorts of things, with location and company being the two biggest factors. I've had good times camping (Old Orchard Beach in Maine, whitewater rafting in West Virginia) and in hotels (conventions, though not all of them qualified as "luxury" hotels). All other things being equal, I'd probably take the hotel; but if it was a choice between a business trip to a hotel or camping with my friends, I'd have more fun wherever the friends were. Unless it's Vegas. Vegas is a trump card.
