I’ve seen pictures and comments about this on the internet, so last night I decided to try my hand at cooking some … whatever it’s called.
Four hot dogs, each cut into five pieces, and each piece punctured by eight sticks of spaghetti equals one hundred and sixty spaghettis speared through the hot dogs, one at a time. I had no idea what the proper quantity was for three people, but that worked out to be just enough for each person to get a single serving.
It was hard to gauge how long to boil the pasta/weiner combinations for, so it came out just a bit al dente. Q complained about it being a bit undercooked, but Richard and I didn’t mind.
The final product, with a spicy/meaty sauce I mixed up and topped with grated Parmesan/Romano cheese blend. I wonder how this would taste if I’d used Italian sausage instead of hot dogs? Hmmm…
