Merry Christmas

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas.

That's right. Christmas. December 25th is Christmas.

And it's been secularized enough that you don't even have to be Christian to celebrate it. I was just discussing earlier one of the ways in which it's celebrated in Japan.

I don't freak out when other people mention solstices or Bastille Day. If you don't celebrate Christmas, there's no need to pitch hissy fits at those who do. Take the wishes for a good day in the spirit they were meant.

At the House of Sulu, we're celebrating with an all-day Muppet marathon. And alcohol, of course: Stoli Ohranj for me, Goldwasser for the missus...
