Booze In The Nooz

FREEPORT, Maine (WFTV-9) — Making vodka isn't exactly brain surgery.  But it's a new sideline for a Maine brain surgeon.  The doctor and his brother, who's a potato farmer, want to transform spuds into premium vodka.  The brothers (Donnie and Lee Thibodeau) and their partners hope to produce Cold River Vodka.  After a taste test this week they'll settle on a final formula.  Company CEO Bob Harkins said they've done their homework and it's time to deliver.  Cold River will sell for about $32 a bottle.  The company said it should be on some New England liquor store shelves in a matter of weeks.

Remember "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy"? Well, now you can get both from the same guy. That's convenience!
