Allah Sulu-South Park

Carma

I woke up Sunday morning to the sounds of people and machinery outside. I looked out the window and saw a police officer talking to a couple of my neighbors, and a car being hauled up onto a flatbed truck. The car being hauled away had been totalled when the driver smashed into a parked car (which, incidentally, didn't do much good for the parked car either – from the angle of the wheel, it looked like the rear axle had been seriously bent). The parked car which was hit, by the way, was the one right behind mine. (We all park out on the street.) After hitting the parked car, the drivers of the no-longer-roadworthy car brought it to a halt right in front of my car, doing minor damage to the car in front of mine. That's right, they slammed into the car behind mine, bounced around mine, and came to a stop after scraping the car in front of mine. Glad it wasn't my turn again to suffer car damage yet.
