Scary

What's In A Name?

The common dolphin fish is not at all related to the dolphin (which is a mammal), but restaurants still list it on the menu as "mahi-mahi" because some people don't know any better and think that they're being offered grilled portions of Flipper. The name "canola" (short for "CANadian Oil, Low Acid") was invented in 1978 for rapeseed oil, for those who were uncomfortable with paying money for rape.
