Most people already know this about me, but I almost never remember my dreams. I wake up a blank slate, with no memory of time passed or mental processes executed between my moment of awakening and the time I went to sleep. In fact, sometimes I can wake up in the middle of the night, hold a conversation with Q, go back to sleep, and have no memory of that in the morning either. Sleep apparently short-circuits my short-term/long-term memory processing. And, on the rare occasions when I do wake up in the middle of a dream and recollect what my subconscious was just doing, it rarely stays with me for long. I certainly don't keep a journal, nor do I bother trying to tell other people about it. "Hey, guess what I dreamed about last night" stories are seldom as interesting for the listener as the teller.
Do you usually remember your dreams at night? Do you analyze and/or record your dreams in your journal? Are there any recurring themes?
